I believe that websites primary goal should be communication. The sites that I create are clean, flexible, yet still have flare. I try to reduce the images used for design on all my projects. Flare is important but only in the right places.
All my websites are created from scratch. That means I do not use proprietary programs like Frontpage. Instead I tailor the website to your needs. Proprietary programming languages like ASP have their advantages, but I believe those are not in the realm of web design. My websites use open-source technology exclusively. What is open-source technology? First and foremost it is free! Second, it is more user friendly, well documented and did I mention it was free.
